#1. Show your environment. Do you work from home, an office, studio, coffee shop? People love a behind the scenes view.
#2. Stay on brand and be consistent. What are your logo colors, product colors, vibe, clients you want to attract? Wear colors that compliment your website or feed.
#3. PROPS! What makes sense to your brand? Books, working on your laptop, notepad, coffee mug, flowers, phone, products you sell. The more you are prepared ahead of time, the better the shoot will go.
#4. Introduce your employees. Show their personalities, either doing their job, doing a hobby- like playing the guitar, a photo with their family or an interview getting to know them.
#5. Your face does not have to be in every photo. For example, a flat lay of products (photo taken from overhead), store front photos, meeting with a client, providing a service, a creative angle or view. These types of photos can be more thought provoking and creative.
EXTRA TIPS:
Show your personality!
Make a shot list to keep everyone on the same page and so you don’t forget anything.
Trust your photographer. Find a photographer that understands your vision and let them do their thing.
Have multiple outfits so it does not look like all your photos were taken on the same day. The goal is to have a library of images for you to use for a few months.
Hope this helps tell the story of your brand and attract the clients you want!
