When my marketing manager, Caitlin, told me she was expecting her first baby I immediately had flash backs to a gender reveal I saw on line about 8 years ago. I have been waiting to recreate this for so long and they were the perfect couple. After the ultra sound yesterday, she brought me the sealed envelope with the sex so I could start planning. And here is how it went down. (HUGE thanks to THE SHACK for helping pull this off. Besides having amazing food, the staff was incredible to work with. Thank you Josh and Christine!! ) Oh ya, and today is Caitlin's birthday!!

Want to know how to make Christmas tree heart bokeh? Follow the easy, homemade way to create your own.
Chose a wide aperture (small number such as 1.8, 2.0, 2.8) and set your camera to manual focus. Point the camera to the tree (further away is better) and instead of focusing on the tree, turn your focal ring until the tree is out of focus. This is what you will get.
And this is what happens without the paper on the lens.
